Ek 'Aazaan' si goonjti hai

You could be a figment of my imagination. Never seen you in person or spoken to you, ever. Not sure if you are elder or younger to me. Not that it even matters, at all. Sometimes you are wise as a sage, at times childlike. A sister that I never had. A friend who I haven't met. A poet I admire. A family member gifted to me by the kind universe. Someone who makes me feel special and blessed, despite the distance... despite everything.

Not sure if I deserve this blessing, but on your birthday, I want you to know how much you mean to me. You could be a figment of my imagination and even if you are, I hold you closer than those who are real and wish you all the happiness that the universe has in store. For me, who is a non-Muslim, you are like the holy 'Aazaan' that may not directly connect with me but still fills me with peace and tranquility, which is simply divine. I am attempting to string together a few words, on your birthday... straight from the heart! May peace always be upon you sister... You are the best! Love you always!!!
